Happy Dog Collaborates with University of Delaware Honors College HENS
We’re excited to share that Happy Dog recently collaborated with the University of Delaware Honors College HENS! HENS is a Registered Student Organization that works closely with the University of Delaware Honors College, focusing on service opportunities both on and off campus to give back to the university and the local community.
For our first collaboration, over 50 people came together to hand-make blankets for a local animal shelter, a heartwarming effort that brought students, volunteers, and dog lovers together for a great cause. Before the crafting began, our president gave a presentation on how we got started, followed by a Q&A about starting a business, giving volunteers insight into entrepreneurship while they contributed to the project.
In our second collaboration, we made dog toys, with our president and founder, Brandon, and our product manager, Kyle, attending alongside other volunteers. It was amazing to see everyone’s enthusiasm and creativity in action, turning time and effort into something meaningful for animals in need.
Collaborations like these are at the heart of what we do at Happy Dog: combining creativity, community, and service to make a real difference for local shelters while bringing people together around a shared love for dogs.
